Mike Pickering

Mike Pickering is Performance of a Lifetime’s Vice President of Finance and Operations, having joined the organization in June of 2021. Before joining POAL, Mike served as the co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Ingenious Med, a healthcare technology company. Over 15 years, Mike led IM’s sales, technology, account management, and professional services organizations during the company’s rapid growth. 

Mike is also a longtime community organizer — he is a co-founder and organizer of the Atlanta All Stars Project youth and community development program, a founder of Georgia Independent Voters, and was a producer with Atlanta Independent Theater. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of OpenPrimaries.org. 

Mike is a novice beekeeper, an undiscovered poet, and loves the color mauve, partly because it must be a nice color (Mike is color-blind), but mostly because it’s spelled mauvelously.
