The Performance of a Lifetime team comes from a wide array of disciplines — theater, music, design and improvisation; organizational development and entrepreneurship; and psychology, anthropology, philosophy, and social activism. 

These disciplines and perspectives shape our work with our clients, helping them grow their leaders, make strategic pivots, be more innovative, create more inclusive and diverse workplaces, and build more effective teams.  

The art and science of human development — what it is, how it works, even what it means to be human — is evolving. At the same time as we are thinking, cognitive beings, we’re also emotive, creative, curious, and playful. We all remember being that way as children, but as adults we can forget the joy and wonder of that side of our nature. New research and practice, however, shows that accessing the full range of who we are is essential to human learning, growth, and change. 

So Performance of a Lifetime taps into all of who people are — we engage and awaken the desire and ability to start learning, growing, and developing again. We call what we do The Becoming Principle®.

We love what we do. We get enormous gratification seeing the transformational impact that we have with our clients. And we want this impact to be available to all — including people without means. That’s why we provide pro-bono services and financial support to several non-profits, including the award-winning youth development organization the All Stars Project, Inc, and the global conference of performance activists, Performing the World. Over the past two decades we’ve contributed $10 million to support grassroots organizations and efforts that use the creative arts to address the devastating impact of poverty and to help people who “don’t belong together” to communicate and collaborate and build new kinds of human communities.
