In partnership with the Alan Alda Center for Communicating Science, the Applied Improvisation Network held its annual world conference in August 2019 in Stony Brook, NY. This video — an edited version of an hour-long conversation — was shown at the conference, and features Daniel H. Pink and Cathy Salit sharing ideas about improvisation and performance in response to the conference theme: “Communicating beyond borders and barriers: applications of improvisation in society.”
