Farah integrates her 20+ years of experience in theater, arts education and facilitation into her work as a leadership coach and speaker, with an emphasis on what she believes are the foundational pillars for effective leadership: communication and equity. An Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with the International Coach Federation, Farah is also certified in the Energy Leadership Index (ELI) assessment. Farah has facilitated and led individual and group programs in the US, India and APAC for managers, executives and C-suite leaders in Fortune 500 companies in media and entertainment, financial services and other sectors.
Originally from Bombay, India, Farah has a parallel career in the arts as an actor and producer, with a Barrymore Award Nomination for Outstanding Leading Actress (alongside theater veteran Anna Deavere Smith). Her work has been seen on stage and screen across the US and South Asia. Throughout her career, Farah has found ways to connect art with social change, while consistently facilitating dialogue towards a more inclusive artistic representation in today’s media.
Farah’s speaking engagements have included Yale University, Ford Foundation, NY Travel Festival, Travel Unity, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Asian American Arts Alliance, Rising Circle Theater among others. She has been featured in Umbrage Edition’s award-winning book, Green Card Stories — one of 50 stories of recent immigrants from around the world. She holds an MFA in Theater from Sarah Lawrence College, and is a graduate of the Institute of Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC) Program.
