Team Effectiveness Solutions

We work with intact groups (senior leadership teams, functional departments, a new team coming together, etc.) in a multi-touch program comprised of several leadership skills workshops. These workshops focus on developing key leadership capabilities. Together with you, we craft the framing and the “through-line” that connects and ties the learning/experience to your team’s business needs and goals.
Linda Orton, chief marketing officer at Alvarez & Marsal, talks about how Performance of a Lifetime strengthened her team in this 3-minute video.
The Team Effectiveness experience is delivered as follows:
STEP 1
Refine your desired outcomes
We explore your team development needs and context — aligning a new team, new challenges for an existing team, navigating team dynamics at any tenure — and define expected outcomes, impact, and framing for your program.
STEP 2
Conduct discovery + design
We interview team members and key stakeholders to gain insights that inform the detailed program design.
STEP 3
Engage + ready participants
We build interest, engagement, and ownership with custom communications that provide pre-work, and frame the program’s value for participants.
STEP 4
Delivery (part 1) — the workshop
This can occur at your organization or off site. We pay a lot of attention to “putting up the show” and will do whatever it takes to create a seamless and worry-free experience.
STEP 5
Generate momentum
We provide a series of communications to drive the team’s on-the-job experimentation with new skills and tools, and prepare for virtual coaching groups.
STEP 6
Delivery (part 2) — virtual coaching
We engage the team — in whole or in smaller groups depending on size — in putting new skills, performances, and ways of working together in action, in a creative and supportive context. Sessions run for 90 minutes via videoconference, led by one of the program coaches.
STEP 7
Keep the growing going
We share and discuss our observations and insights from the program. This report informs leadership on progress toward business goals, and recommended next steps.
