Spencer Scott Barros is a facilitator/actor/teaching artist/producer based in New York City, and has worked globally with management teams in financial services, technologies, manufacturing, consumer products, law and institutions of higher learning.
Spencer has been a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion facilitator for leading “best practice” organizations for over 25 years. He has substantial expertise in conflict resolution, and experience in facilitating leaders’ thoughtful, challenging and respectful dialogues on the most pressing diversity issues facing global organizations today. He also presents annually at the National Meeting for the Consortium for Graduate Study in Management.
He is a founding member and Associate Artistic Director of Liberation Theatre Company, a creative home to emerging playwrights of color. He is also a founding member of the producing team Harlem 9, producers of the Obie-Award-winning 48Hours in…Harlem. A member of SAG/AFTRA and Actors Equity Association, Spencer’s acting credits have taken him from regional theatres to Broadway, working with some of the best directors in the country. He also has extensive credits in television commercials, voice-overs and print ads, as well as guest starring roles on many television shows.
