Amanda is a fervent believer in the power of play as a catalyst for learning and growth, both in the programming she helps create as a client engagement manager, and in the day-to-day life of the POAL office. She previously worked in advertising on the agency side in media and account management, and before POAL was a marketing manager at Irish Arts Center for three years.
Before moving to New York, Amanda had a life-changing experience serving for AmeriCorps VISTA on the Big Island of Hawai’i, where she was the program developer and manager of an elementary school literacy program. She received her Bachelor of Science in organizational leadership with minors in advertising and anthropology from the University of Delaware.
Amanda is a proud native of the Jersey Shore (now happily transplanted to Astoria, Queens), spent the bulk of her formative years in marching band, and now sings in a rock choir.
